Who we are

Flaire (flairevocals.com) is a vocal sample vault. References to “Flaire”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy refer to the individual operating this service. For questions, contact us at flaireaudio@gmail.com.

How you sign in

Flaire has no passwords. You sign in one of two ways:

  • Google sign-in. Google confirms your identity to us and shares your email address, your name and your profile picture URL. We never see your Google password, and we cannot access anything else in your Google account.
  • Email link. We email a single-use sign-in link to the address you enter. The link expires after an hour.

Authentication is operated for us by Supabase Auth. Your session is held in a secure, HTTP-only cookie that your browser sends back to us on each visit.

What data we collect

When you create a Flaire account or sign in, we store:

  • Your email address, used to identify your account and send your receipt
  • Your display name, if your sign-in method provides one
  • Whether you hold lifetime access, and the date your account was created
  • A record of each vocal you download, with the date and a count, so the vault can show you what you have already taken

If you opt in to push notifications, we store your browser’s push subscription endpoint and encryption keys. This data is used only to deliver Flaire notifications to you.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on Flaire servers.

From a completed payment we keep only what we need to prove you bought access and to handle refunds: the Stripe payment reference, the Stripe customer reference, the amount, the currency, the date and the email address used at checkout.

Stripe processes your payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use your data

  • To verify your lifetime access and grant downloads
  • To show you which vocals you have already downloaded
  • To detect and limit abuse of the download endpoint
  • To send you push notifications about new vault additions (only if you opt in)
  • To communicate with you about your account and your purchase

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for any purpose other than operating the Flaire service.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Flaire:

  • Stripe: payment processing. Stripe receives your card details and billing information directly.
  • Google: optional sign-in. Used only to confirm your identity if you choose the Google option.
  • Supabase: authentication, and secure database hosting for accounts, purchase records, download history and push subscriptions.
  • Vercel: website hosting and deployment.
  • Meta (Facebook): advertising and analytics via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. This helps us understand how people discover Flaire and measure ad effectiveness. Where we report a completed purchase to Meta, your email address is hashed before it is sent.
  • Klaviyo: email marketing. If you sign up and consent, your email may be added to our mailing list for product updates.

Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential: Supabase Auth session cookies that keep you signed in and prove you hold lifetime access. These are required for the service to function and cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics & Advertising: The Meta Pixel sets cookies to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These are only set if you accept non-essential cookies.

Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention. Those pages are operated by Stripe, not by us.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the banner at the bottom of the page.

Data retention

Because Flaire access is permanent, we retain your account, purchase record and download history for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account we will remove your personal data from our database within 30 days, though we may need to keep the payment record where tax or accounting law requires it.

Push notification subscriptions are deleted automatically if your browser unsubscribes or the subscription expires.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time (via the bell icon in the vault)
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email flaireaudio@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Flaire after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
